Fifth Space tourist- A Russian billionaire

Charles Simonyi who is an American billionaire and had helped in developing Microsoft word has gone on a trip to the skies. He had two other cosmonauts went into orbit on Saturday night in a Russian Rocket, the Soyuz TMA-10 capsule on a two-day journey to the International Space Station.
Launch of Soyuz TMA-10

The Soyuz TMA-10 capsule, trailing a column of smoke and fire, cast an orange glow over the Baikonur cosmodrome and dozens of officials and well-wishers watching from about a mile away.

Simyoni, aged 58 and a native of Hungary has paid $25 million for the 13-day trip, which makes him the fifth space tourist.

Among the spectators and well-wishers who were watching the rocket launch from a mile away, was Martha Stewart, who has been linked romantically to Simonyi. She had earlier shared a private moment with him Friday through only a plate glass window, to protect Simonyi and his crew-mates from germs."He's in excellent spirits," Stewart said. "He's very fit and very well-trained."

He is to maintain a blog (www.charlesinspace.com) while in orbit, where he said that he had spent his final day getting a haircut and a therapeutic massage and watched a classic Soviet-era war film, a cosmonaut tradition.

This is what i found on the blog.
The multimedia version of CharlesinSpace.com is undergoing temporary maintenance due to the out-of-this-world traffic generated by the international news coverage. It will be back online shortly.
